This qualiﬁcation is an introduction to the information and knowledge needed to work in primary, secondary or special schools. It covers the many varied roles that full and part time support staff may fulﬁll including: administrative roles, site support roles, technical roles and volunteers, as well as those roles that work directly with children and young people in the school environment.
Who is this course suitable for?
All those who would like to work in a school support role. It also provides initial training and induction for those new in post.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification but learners need to be at least 16 years old.

When you enrol for this course you will be allocated and assessor who will work with you remotely to complete the Award. You will submit written work online to your assessor for marking and feedback.
