Digital Marketing Executive

Contract type:            Permanent

Hours:                          Working hours 7 ½ hours per day (8-hour day – ½ hour unpaid break) Monday to Friday

Salary:                          £18,000 – £25,000 (DOE)

Areas of Responsibility

As the Digital Marketing Executive, you’ll be involved in all aspects of our marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the directors you will be responsible for developing and delivering the annual plan and driving online sales growth/presence.

Job Role (not limited to):

  • Produce content for digital marketing, sales literature and digital output as required
  • Social medial planning, implementation and e-newsletter/blog management
  • Updating and maintaining our website and content
  • Producing graphics and landing page designs for websites
  • Creating e-shot design and video content for marketing campaigns
  • Sales material development including artwork creation: brochures, flyers, etc and preparing for print where necessary
  • Liaising with printing and graphic design teams where necessary.
  • Updating and creating content that is search engine optimised (SEO)
  • Looking at website data to discover ways for improving and tracking the success and failure of campaigns

The successful candidate will have a mix of creative, design and marketing skills and will be highly organised individual who can manage various projects at once.

Skills & Experience:

  • A relevant degree, or experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of the various digital marketing disciplines, content marketing, paid search and paid social
  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Strong interest and knowledge of digital marketing, the trends, methods and emerging technologies
  • Graphic design
  • Excellent IT skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe etc)
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written English
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to the requirements of the role

Hours:                         37.5 per week

Salary:                        £20- 30K DOE plus commission

Yes, there will be KPI’s with us but providing outstanding training programs is our main goal, so it’s quality over quantity every time.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Identify, engage, develop and on-board new business through a variety of business development approaches including, making outbound cold calls, answering inbound calls, attending client meetings, presenting, attending events and networking.
  • Develop and maintain existing relationships with employers to maximise all opportunities to offer apprenticeship and commercial training opportunities.
  • Produce, organise and deliver targeted direct mail, email, social media campaigns to generate leads
  • Deliver advice and support to employers on the management requirements of all funding streams
  • Promote the benefits of all our training packages and handle objections where necessary
  • Work to monthly recruitment targets / KPI’s based on enrolments numbers.
  • Report sales data and forecasts on a regular basis and meet month end sales deadlines
  • Maintain and build relationships with outside agencies, Jobcentre Plus, Schools, Colleges and attend job fairs / school visits when required.
  • Attend appropriate networking and employer events to develop new opportunities. This may include an element of early morning, evening or weekend work

Your profile

  • Previous track record of successful delivery within a sales role
  • Industry related knowledge of funded training programs would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Adaptable with the ability and desire to learn quickly and succeed.
  • Able to work without supervision, utilising initiative and good judgment
  • A genuine desire to deliver proactive continuous improvements within a role
  • Strong IT skills
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Use of own car
