Information on our Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
Duration: Typically, 18 months Level: 3
Business Administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. This includes small and large businesses alike; from the public sector, private sector and charitable sector.
This qualification is suitable for a range of learners, either working or wishing to work in most industries such as retail, hospitality, finance, health care, marketing, sales, human resources and accounting.
The apprentice must achieve the following on-programme assessment requirements prior to Gateway:
The decision to take an apprentice through Gateway is made between the employer, Independent Training Provider and apprentice. The apprentice must have achieved all the required on-programme elements before they enter Gateway.
The assessment plan for the business administrator has three modes of assessment: Multiple choice questions (MCQ)knowledge test, portfolio-based interview and project presentation.
Total scores will be added together to give an overall total score out of 100. The scores from all the components must be between 60-79 to achieve a Pass and 80+ to achieve a Distinction.
Upon achievement of this qualification learners can progress into various job roles such as:
Learners can progress to Level 4 Associate Project Manager and then Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager.
