Levels 3 and 4 Qualifications in Assessing and Assuring the Quality of Assessment are designed for people wanting to assess qualification s or carry out internal Quality Assurance.
These qualifications have replaced the previous qualifications the ‘Assessing and Verification Awards’ which, in turn replaced the original Training and Development Assessing and Verification qualifications (D32, 33,34 and 35).
If you would like to become an Assessor for QCF qualifications either assessing competence in the work environment, vocational achievement or both; or perhaps are already a qualified Assessor and wish to work in an Internal Quality Assurance role, or maybe you are working in Internal Quality Assurance and wish to lead the Internal Quality Assurance process and practice, then these are the qualifications that you need to take.
The Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment is a knowledge only qualification that is very useful if you wish to gain an understanding of the essential principles and practices of assessment without actually working as an assessor.
Practising Assessors, Moderators and Internal Verifiers who hold a different qualification and now wish to assess or quality assure the QCF qualifications must use the current criteria contained within these qualifications. It is imperative that these people refer to the ‘How to’ guide for CACHE QCF Qualifications’
Practising Assessors and Internal Quality Assurers who hold a recognised qualification as described in the ‘How to’ guide do not have to retake these current qualifications however they must show that they have updated their knowledge and practice to reflect the revised standards.
We are able to offer Level 3 and 4 TAQA qualifications:
• CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (QCF) £750
• CACHE Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes & Practice (QCF)£750
• CACHE Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes & Practice (QCF) £100 if taken alone. Free included as part of the above qualification.

We use an online learning system that combines all the teaching, learning resources, e-portfolio and communication systems.
Learners can track their progress as they continue with their course, and can see the percentage they have achieved so far.
Tutors/assessors can mark work swiftly and give learners feedback immediately via the e-portfolio. Tutors and learners can also keep in contact using the email system.
Our courses particularly require a more personalised approach to learning, and our Tutors/assessors will make every effort to tailor the course to suit the learner. This is especially effective for any learners with additional needs.
There’s no need to take time out of your busy schedule to go to college as our Tutors/assessors will come to you for any observations you require. This means you can fit your training and qualification around you.
