Children and Young People’s Workforce Level 2

This qualification is designed to help learners build the knowledge and skills needed when working under supervision with children and young people from birth to 19 years of age. It covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas working in children’s settings including early years and social care.

Level 2 – Funding Options: Apprenticeship (Government funded) or Privately Funded (learner or employer).

Early Years Educator Level 3

Working within the children’s learning and development sector it is important to have colleagues who are competent and adequately trained to deliver an excellent service. This qualification will ensure that colleagues will be competent and eligible to be includes in Ofsted ratios for children’s learning and development in England. All supervisors/managers in registered settings must hold a full and relevant level 3 qualification.

Level 3 – Funding Options: Apprenticeship (Government funded), 24+ Advanced Learner Loan or Privately Funded (learner or employer).

Playwork Level 2, 3 and transition from EYE

Playworkers have an important role in enabling children to create and explore their own play experiences. A playworker will be able to work with children, understand when a child needs sociable or solitary play and will offer a range of organised activities, creative play and outdoor games. Above all, they will provide children with a safe place to play and an environment that allows them to be themselves.

Level 3 – Funding Options: Apprenticeship (Government funded), 24+ Advanced Learner Loan or Privately Funded (learner or employer).

Transition – Funding Options: Privately Funded (learner or employer).

Team Leading Level 2

Team Leading Level 2 allows Learners to focus on their development within a Team Leading context such as improving their own learning and performance, working with others and problem solving; as well as developing skills and techniques in relation to personal qualities which are essential for successful performance in working life.

Level 2 – Funding Options: Apprenticeship (Government funded), Privately Funded (learner or employer).

Management Level 3

This course is aimed at supervisors and first line managers, and is intended for those people who need to maintain and develop the effectiveness and efficiency of the operations for which they are responsible.

Level 3 – Funding Options: Apprenticeship (Government funded), 24+ Advanced Learner Loan or Privately Funded (learner or employer).

Supporting Teaching and Learning in School Level 2

Covering a wide range of areas including children and young people’s development, supporting those with disabilities or special educational needs and communication and professional relationships.

Award – Funding Options: Privately Funded (learner or employer).

Certificate – Funding Options: Apprenticeship (Government funded), Privately Funded (learner or employer).

Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 3

These qualifications will provide an understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children or young people in primary, secondary or special schools. They include learning about children and young people’s development, safeguarding their welfare and communication.

Award – Funding Options: Privately Funded (learner or employer).

Certificate – Funding Options: Apprenticeship (Government funded), 24+ Advanced Learner Loan or Privately Funded (learner or employer).

Specialist Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 3

Covering all aspects of Specialist Support including planning, delivering, and reviewing assessment strategies to support learning alongside the teacher, bilingual and special needs support and personal development and reflective practice.

Diploma

Customer Service level 2 and 3

There are a wide variety of other job roles that are complemented by customer service skills.  This courses includes skills and knowledge needed to deliver customer services, understand customer and employer organisations.

Business and Administration level 2 and 3

A high quality administrative function is essential to all businesses and organisations, whatever their product, function or sector. This Qualification provides the breadth and depth of skills and knowledge needed for employment in Business and Administration.

Level 2 – Funding Options: Apprenticeship (Government funded), Privately Funded (learner or employer).

Level 3 – Funding Options: Apprenticeship (Government funded), 24+ Advanced Learner Loan or Privately Funded (learner or employer).

Activity Leadership Level 2

This qualification underpins the role of an activity leader in the active leisure sector and is appropriate for individuals who are planning, delivering and evaluating activity sessions.

Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport Level 3

This qualification provides learners with the knowledge and skills to be able to supporting the delivery of low risk activities that contribute to a physical education and school sport programme through curriculum-based and/or extra-curricular activities.
